Mental Health

If you or someone else is suicidal or having thoughts of self harm please call 999. For patients who do not need to call 999 but are in crisis please call 0900 4480828 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

 

Please refer to the below information if you require any emotional wellbeing and mental health support in the future:

  1. Contact your GP to discuss a referral for Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health services for adults or self-referral via the Integrated Response Hub 0800 4480828.
  2. Contact the Wellbeing Navigator Service for an informal discussion in relation to your wellbeing needs, by calling 01604 658963 or emailing the following address: well-being.primarycare@nhs.net . The team can advise you of the appropriate service which may meet your needs.
  3. Self-refer to Changing Minds IAPT by calling: 0300 999 1616. This service provides therapeutic support for people aged 17½ years and over and is often delivered in your GP surgery.
  4. If you are in Sixth Form or attend college, pastoral care and on site counsellors may also be available to you.       
  5. Crisis Cafés are available county-wide for out-of-hours mental health support every day in MIND venues; up-to-date information regarding times and contact details is available at www.nhft.nhs.uk/crisis-cafe
